
Lekshmi Santhosh, MD, MA
Lekshmi Santhosh, M.D., M.A.Ed. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Divisions of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine and Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health. She is Assistant Program Director of the Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship Program. She came to UCSF for her internship in Internal Medicine residency and stayed for chief residency and fellowship before transitioning to faculty. She practices in outpatient pulmonary clinic, the medical and neurological ICU, and the medicine teaching inpatient service. She joined the CSW as a chief resident to make sure that the voices of trainees are always represented on the committee, since women trainees are in a uniquely vulnerable position.
