Emanuela (Emy) Volpe, JD

Emanuela earned a law degree at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, where was she was born and raised. Emy managed several student programs and academic/educational activities before becoming involved in research. She works in the Research Development Office and is the Director of the Resource Allocation Program (RAP). RAP is a centralized, campus-wide program that manages the dissemination, submission, review and award of a broad range of intramural funding opportunities. The program awards over $6M dollars in research funds annually to UCSF faculty and fellows.  Emy recently joined the CSW, and is eager to contribute her input and ideas toward positive change.
