Nandini Palaniappa, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care. She is based at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFGH) and works clinically in the operating room and in the surgical intensive care unit. Outside of clinical care, she is involved in quality improvement and education, serving as the co-director of quality improvement for the department and the SICU residency rotation director. She is thrilled to join the committee on the Status of Women to advocate for women throughout UCSF.
